I like how you made this look more pink and white instead of keeping it’s natural colors, it makes this look so much more beautiful :D Again, awesome job :D

Thanks isabelle, the pinkness is from the filter I used and it really makes everything look much more lovely. I was really surprised when it all came together. I'm glad you like it. :)

heavy shit!!!
how did you get such low exposure times?

:iconarchangelical:
Archangelical Featured By Owner Oct 2, 2010
looking at my metadata, I had a 2 second exposure at ISO 800 and f4. I think mostly it was just a super sunny day and since it was a timelapse I wasn't too worried about ISO noise. I wish I had access to a converted camera on that trip but for timelapses it's usually better for a longer exposure. Thanks so much for looking! :)

Trippy! Now that I've got a Gorillapod, I should totally make something like this!

for sure, my favorite tripod is a little 6 inch one that I take everywhere, the big ones are too cumbersome for me. :) as for timelapses, there super easy, it's mostly just importing pics to flash or quicktime. :)

Nice. :) How did you get infrared look? In production or postproduction?

:iconarchangelical:

well, both. :) I did use an IR filter that turns the trees bright but to get them to turn pink I had flip some channels. If I recall I turned the red channel blue and the green and blue channel red. Depending on how I flipped the channels the trees could have been purple or green or yellow, it was hard to decide but I think I like the pink here. Thanks for your comment. :)

Whoa, cool! :D I hope I will buy IR filter one day so I will get an opportunity to make some kind of these photos/movies too. :)

I got my IR filter off ebey for the cost of lunch (and with free shipping). :) I really recommend ebay for that type of stuff. IR is pretty fun, it takes an otherwise normal scene and makes it surreal. Good times. :)

I would buy from eBay too but PayPal is not supporting Montenegro so it's too complicated to do a buying on the internet. :/

Thanks so much! Yeah, for some reason I don't get too many comments on my stuff so whenever people do take the time to say something I really appreciate it. Stuff like this is a lot of work :)
