Yeah, it's funny what a difference a little bit of blur can make. :)
thanks for looking!

Wow! Moving pictures! :)

I particularly like this one because it's a parable of life; the repetitious action of the daily grind.

Ha! I should do a 24 hour one that would mimic life exactly. The sun will rise and fall and everyone will be scurrying like the day before. :)

The shallow focus depth makes this look like the most detailed claymation scene ever. It's wondrous!

thanks, yeah the depth of field is all post production to create the whole trippy illusion... If you search "tilt shift" you can find a ton of awesome timelapses. I've wasted hours of my life staring at them. :)

Ya know I spent a good 5 minutes trying to remember what the term was, dof, haha, I settled for "focus depth". That's cool I wouldn't have guessed that it was post production, I thought you were using a f/1.2 or something.

yeah, they make special lenses that tilt apart from the camera and blur the bottom and top of the pic but they cost like $2000. It's really kinda silly when I can do the same thing in photoshop in 5 mins. Some people just really like having gadgets. :)

thanks! It's really a simple little optical illusion. If someone adds blur to the top and bottom of a pic that's taken from far away the mind thinks it's miniature people. There's lots of um out there if you google "tilt shift". It's really fun. :)

yeah it's crazy how changing the depth of field can make everything seem so wonky. I'm now wondering what other stuff I can look down upon. :)
